Halfway Bush.— Mrs, Tweedie presided, and members spent the evening finishing several pairs of footless socks. Wool for sea-boot stockings was distributed. ~ , Taihui Branch.— An enjoyable and instructive evening vyas spent, the demonstrator being Mrs Corlett, of Oam'aru, who brought with her a wonderful display of her work, all the articles being made from old materials. Mrs Mew expressed. the .appreciation of members for many useful ideas gained. At the conclusion members were the guests of Mrs Mew at a delightful supper.
