LABOUR CONFERENCE
NEW SOUTH WALES PARTY HOSTILITY TO CONSCRIPTION (Rec. 12.27 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 16. The Official New South Wales Labour Conference to-day carried a resolution urging that immediate steps should be taken to oust Mr Menzies’s Government from office , with a view to forming a Labour Administration and develop the war effort to the fullest capacity. Conference reaffirmed its hostility to conscription,' and affirmed the principle that the,, manufacture of armaments should; .be ’nationalised.
