DAILY INTERCESSION
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans xv, 13).
Ouv loving Father, grant unto us and all our people the fulfilment of this prayer of Thy servant Paul, that we may have true faith and so abound in true hope. We pray Thee also for our loved ones, far and near, some in danger, som.e wounded, some in enemy prison camps; in whatever their situation mdy they have the consciousness of the presence of Christ. Night and day they are ever in our thoughts and on our hearts . and for them our prayers go up often in the unspoken cry 'of the heart. O God have mercy, and give them courage, steadfastness, and hope for every need. May they be also loyal to the highest things, scorning the low and ynclean, as good soldiers of Christ fighting the good fight of faith. And for the fallen. Father, in Thy gracious keeping do we leave our loved ones; in the ncnne of Christ • the compassionate Saviour.
