♦ ■' ' CLOUDY WITH SHOWERS Forecast, lor Otago.— The' following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, .was Issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington;— Moderate to strong westerly to south-westerly wind. Weather cloudy and changeable, with periods of showers. Temperatures cool, with some snow on the upper levels. Further Outlook—-Remaining cool and changeable. Weather in Dunedin.— The weather yesterday morning was cold, but fine, and temperatures during the day were mild, the maximum being 55 degrees. There was no wind and the barometer was rising slightly at the exceptionally low level of 39.00 inches <982 millibars). Pressure was still rising at 29.05 indies (984 millibars) at midnight.
