. ANNUAL MEETING -, The annual meeting .of the Scottish Society of. Dunedin was held , oh Tuesday, the ,chaij- being occupied by Mr G, Burnett. the chairman of the committee. . Thechairman extended a .welcome to' ; the patron, Mr John,'McDonald, the honorary solicitors, Mr.'T O'Shea, and a life member, Mr W G. Smith. The. adoption. of the annual report and balance sheet Ava« moved by:the president. Mr E. McKenzie who said that the past year had been a successful one. The membership had been well niaintained, and now ‘ stood , at 261. The financial position of the gocietv was also satisfactory. The motion .was seconded by Mr McDonald.-and after Mr Smith had spoken it .:vvas carried. The following office-bearers .were elected for the ensuing-, year:---Patron,...
