SOUTH DUNEDIN COMMUNITY SING

The South Dunedin community sing, which is held every Wednesday in the Mayfair Theatre, South Dunedin, under the leadership of Messrs R. McKenzie and E. Fish, with Miss Myrie Hunt at the piano, will again be held next Wednesday, the proceeds being devoted to the “ Comforts for Fighters ” Fund. Any saleable articles would be acceptable to be auctioned in the theatre. Next Wednesday, has been set aside for Scottish “ bring and buy ” Day, and a suitable programme for this occasion has been arranged. There will be Scottish songs, and two little girls will dance a Highland Reel. The singer who will be assisting is Mrs Harman, .who will be heard in “Auld Scotch Songs ” and “ Roses of Picardy.” Another special feature will be provided by Master Cunningham, the 'clever boy imitator, who will Imitate Hari’y Lauder. Mr Julian Lee will accompany Master Cunningham- at the piano.
