The Gazette last night announced the appointment of Mr J. S. Jessep as a member of the Board of Native AffaTsi Mr Malcolm Eraser- was Elected president of the New Zealand Crippled Children .Society at the annual meeting held in ’ Wellington this week. I Advice has been receivted that Privates L. Gray, L. J. Cheyne (Milton) ] J. S. Gordon and S. Gordon (Christchurch). and Signalman P. G. McConnell are safe and well. Lieutenant-general Sir Guy Williams, who will be in New Zealand for a few months in an advisory capacity on military organisation and training, is expected to visit Christchurch this week.
