Through the agency of Lady Pomare and the Maori people of New Zealand, a supply of mutton birds is being forwarded by the National Patriotic Fund Board to the Maoris overseas. Twelve hundred mutton birds are now being tinned in Invercargill and will be forwarded at an early date.
