BURNSIDE STOCK SALE

DAIRY CATTLE SELL WELL In the fat cattle section a large yarding of 350 was penned at the Burnside sale yesterday, as against 406 for the double market last week. The bulk of the entry was made up of prime to medium bullocks, with a fairly large tail end of light and unfinished. Cows were in short supply, particularly heifers. At the stait values for prime ox and heifers were on a par with last week, but as the sale progressed there was an improvement of up to 20s per head.
