SOUTH DUNEDIN SING
There was another good attendance at the South Dunedin sing in • the Mayfair Theatre yesterday, when some new numbers were introduced, including “ Come On. New Zealand,” written by Mr Bert ,de Crewe, of Dunedin. The assisting per- * formers were Miss Evelyn Bovett, of Wanaka and Mr Raymond Wentworth" the sing being controlled by Mr R. McKenzie, with Mr Ernest Fish as song leader and Hiss Myrle Hunt as accompanist. Goods for "disposal were sent from as far south as Otautau, and the committee is grateful for the ■ contributions of goods and money, all the proceeds being devoted to the “ Comforts for Fighters Fund. When all the returns are in for yesterday's sing it is expected that they will represent a substantial sum. Next Wednesday will he “ Scottish ” Day.
