SOUTH DUNEDIN SING
The season of community singing in South Dunedin was opened in the Mn>fair Theatre yesterday, when a large attendance enjoyed singing some of the more popular numbers that are associated with sings. The assisting performers were Miss Gwenda Burt and Mr Aubrey Clarke, who sang solos and ducts. Mr R. McKenzie was In charge of the sing, with Mr E. Fish as song leader, and Miss Myrle Hunt as accompanist. Gifts of goods, produce and flowers met with a ready sale, and it is hoped that supporters of the sing will keep up the supply of these during the season.
