THE GREAT LEVANTE The Great Levante continues to mystify audiences at His Majesty’s Theatre, and tlie audience last night appeared to enjov thoroughly being mystified, such was the ease with which the versatile magician pul over liis many (ricks. Levante accompanies his acts with amusing patter, and altogether amply proves that he is the finished artist in his particular line of entertainment. An act which particularly puzzles the audience is the “ magic kettle." It is a well-known axiom that you cannot take something out of nothing, and yet from this kettle is produced such a variety and quantity of drinks that one must come to Ihe conclusion that one’s eyes are deceived, A kettle of this size could not possibly contain all the fluids Levante draws from it.
