When a 16-year-old boy, as a hoax, applied for the headmastership of Maidstone Grammar School, Kent, the joke was turned on him. for he did not expect the wide publicity that followed. Secondary victim of the joke was a news agency *hat put out the story that, “ a 16-year-old boy applied for the headmastership of the grammar school at Maidstone, United States.”
