LONDON AIR RAID
THE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND PREMISES BADLY DAMAGED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 14. Cabled advice to the head office of the Bank of New Zealand here states that the London office has suffered in the latest blitz. A bomb was dropped outside, and the premises were badly damaged by the blast, and will be untenable for some time, perhaps for the duration of the war. One of the fire-watching staff, Hayes, is suffering from the blast, but no others were hurt. Temporary accommodiition has been secured in the Commonwealth Bank building.
