LANCASHIRE AND YORKSHIRE SOCIETY
The Lancashire and Yorkshire Society held its monthly social on Saturday last. The president (Mr D. F. Swift) welcomed several new members. An enjoyable time was spent in dancing, games, competitions, and community singing, and Miss M. Payne presented a programme, which included songs by Miss Errington and herself and Mr Cooper, and recitations by Master Alan Hay. The social closed with the singing of "The Roses Red and Roses White."
