Y.W.C.A. 1 V. Training College.— The game between Y.W.C.A. I and Training College was the most outstanding one played at Logan Park. Despite the fact that Y.W.C.A. gained a two-fold victory, Training College was definitely not outclassed, and offered strenuous opposition throughout. Y.W.C.A. had secured a lead of four goals when half-time was called. In the second half, however, Y.W.C.A. developed a surer combination, and accurate shooting at goal placed the team in an unassailable position. The final score was: Y.W.C.A. 24, Training College 12. Kiwi v. Albany I.— The game between Kiwi and Albany I was filled with surprises. After playing evenly in the first half Albany failed to score in the second period. Kiwi thus obtaining the victory by °a substantial margin. Scoring in the earlier stages was slow. In the second Half Kiwi had greater control of the ball, and its forwards played with greater cohesion. The final score was: Kiwi 15. Albany I 4. O.G.H.S. v. University ll.— -Girls' High School enjoyed a dear victory over University 11. In this game, also, play was more evenly contested in the earlier stages, but as the game advanced the School team showed better combination, and more forceful play in the goal area witnessed scores being added rapidly in its favour. The half time score was 12—7 in School's favour. The School players continued their efforts in the second half, and the final score was: Girls' High School 18, University 8. University I v. Albany ll.—As was expected, University I gained the victory over Albany's second team at Logan Park. University had scored seven times before the Red players found the ring. University continually kept up pressure in its goal area, in the first spell, but in the second half play was more interesting, and University did not show such marked superiority.
