CONSIDERABLE INCREASE MANY VESSELS LAUNCHED OTTAWA, Feb. 11. (Received Feb. 11, at 10 p.m.) The Minister of Munitions, Mr C. D. Howe, announced that 45 corvettes and 13 minesweepers have, already been launched from Canadian shipyards. Fourteen more corvettes and 18 minesweepers will be ready by May. The Dominion Bridge Company is constructing modern floating dry docks costing 2,500,000 to 2,750,000 dollars for us*, on the east coast. They will possibly be in use in 1942.
