ALLOWANCES FOR DEPENDENTS EARLY DECISION REGARDING INCREASE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 6. A meeting of the Dominion executive of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers Association decided to request the Minister of Defence, Mr ; F. Jones, to expedite the decision regarding the increase in the rate of dependents’ allow ances to conform with the’ recent wagt increases in New Zealand. It was reported that financial membership of the association oh Decembc-i 31 last was 34,272, an increase of 782 t compared with the same date the previous year.
