CRICKET
OTAGO v. CANTERBURY The representative match between Otago and Canterbury will be played at Carisbrook to-morrow and on Saturday and Monday. The game played at Christchurch during the Christmas holidays provided some of the brightest cricket ever seen in Christchurch in a representative contest. The Canterbury team for the return match is a good all-round side, and will be captained by W. A. Hadlee. The Otago eleven Is also strong in batting, while the bowling should not lack variety. Play will be commenced at 11 a.m. each day, and the luncheon adjournment will be from 1 to 1.45 p.m.
