PREFERENCE SHAREHOLDERS (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 5. Macduffs, Limited, have advised the Stock Exchange Association that its directors recommend the payment of a dividend to preference shareholders at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum for the period ended September 30, 1938. This represents a dividend of 4i per cent, off arrears, plus or minus small amounts according to the dates' the shares were subscribed for and paid up. MARATHON RUBBER FOOTWEAR, LTD. A dividend of 6 per cent., off which social and national securitv tax is deductable, will absorb £1063, leaving £B2B to carry forward. This undertaking is entirely new to the Dominion.
