CLIPPER AT NOUMEA
FLIGHT TO AUCKLAND TO-DAY LARGE CONSIGNMENT OF MAIL (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec 215. The Pan-American Airways' American Clipper left Canton Island at 7.10 am. New Zealand time, to-day. and si-rived at Noumea at 7.5 p.m. Leaving Noumea to-morrow morning, the Clipper is expected at Auckland about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and is expected to leave on Saturday on the return flight to San Francisco. Unfavourable weather in the Pacific caused a delay of five days at San Francisco, 24 hours at Honolulu and 24 hours at Canton Island. The Clipper has passengers from Honolulu and Noumea, nad is carrying between 13001 b and 14001 b of mail, 9001 b of which is for places beyond Auckland.
