THE HOME GUARD
RECRUITING DEPOTS OPENED The district commander of the Home Guard, Lieutenant-colonel A. S. Bruce. Smith, has announced that as from, to-day two recruiting depots will be open in Dunedin during the following hours:—Noon to 2 p.m., 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily; on Friday evenings; and on Saturday mornings from 10 to noon.. The depots will be at the Dug-out in the Octagon and at Cargill's corner, South Dunedin. Responsible officers will be in charge of the depots, and will give every assistance to recruits.
