SCUTTLED GERMAN SHIP
MASTER ATTEMPTS SUICIDE MEXICO CITY, Nov. 19. (Received Nov. 20, at 2 a.m.) It is reported that Captain J. Shurt, the master of the scuttled Phrygia, made two fruitless attempts to commit suicide at Tampico, but was frustrated by sailors. It is also reported that the German Government ordered a disciplinary investigation concerning the apparently needless scuttling of the ship.
