OTAGO. LADIES’ CLUB The first round of match play for the Club Championship and B Grade Challenge Bowl was played yesterday. The following were the results:—Mrs Dodgshun beat Mrs McCreary 6 and 4, Miss Dodgshun beat Miss McHutcheson 3 and 1 'Miss Meek beat Mrs Caffin 4 and 3, Miss Elliott beat Miss Haggltt 4 and 3, Mrs Gibson beat Mrs McCarthy 1 up, Miss Shand beat Mrs Stirling 4 and 3, Miss Brewer beat Mrs Speakman 6 and 4, Mrs Lawless beat Mrs Irvine 3 and 2. Miss North beat Mrs Morrison 6 and 4, Mrs McDougall beat Mrs Mitchell 5 and 4, Mrs Clark beat Miss McCarthy 3 and 2, Mrs Greenfield beat Mrs Russell 3 and 2, Mrs Sime beat Mrs Sykes 1 up. Mrs H. Walker won from Mrs Breeze by default, Mrs A. Smellie beat Miss Jones 4 and 2, Mrs Blair beat Mrs Sparrow, G and 4, CHISHOLM PARK CLUB The official closing day of the season was held last Saturday when an Aggregate Stableford Match was played in conjunction with the Ladies’ Clubs. The winning pair was G. Mora and Mrs A. Bristow with a score of 42 points. Other good cards were: A. Laing and Miss Richdale 40, J. Gormley and Miss Muir 38, M. Stewart and Miss Brown 37, G.
