PRIEST DENIES REPORT

NOT A PEACE EMISSARY FATHER ODO IN AMERICA NEW YORK, Nov. 4. Father Odo, the Benedictine monk, who was formerly the Duke Of Wurtemburg, denied the London reports that he was in the United States as a peace emissary from Herr Hitler. He said his sole purpose was to help Catholic refugees. He had not been in Germany for seven years and had never seen Herr Hitler. Mr Cordell Hull said he had no information concerning reports from Europe that peace proposals had been outlined to the United States.
