OIL IN PHILIPPINES
DRILLING TO BE BEGUN MANILA, Oct. 15. President Quezon, it is stated, has authorised the expenditure of 500,000 pesos to begin drilling for oil ,at Cebu and the Bondoc Peninsula. It is said that a survey of those areas indicated that the chances of finding oil were very favourable.
