CHANGEABLE AND SHOWERY Forecast for Otago—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m.. yesterday _by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate to strong west to south* west winds. Weather changeable arid showery, with cool to cold temperatures. Seas rough. Dominion Forecast. —An anti-cyclone is still located in the north, while a depression of the westerly type is passing in the south. Pressure is rising over south-eastern Australia. Weather fair and warm east of the ranges and in the far north, otherwise cloudy to overcast. Rain in Otago and Southland and extending up the western districts to Taranaki and up the Eastern districts to Canterbury. Temperatures becoming, cold later in the Southern half of the South Island. Weather in Dunedin.— There was again a strong north-west wind yesterday and temperatures were very warm, ranging from 72 degrees at 8 a.m. to a maximum- of ,74 degrees.
