COOL AND SHOWERY Forecast for Otago. —The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was Issued at 5 pm. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington: Moderate southerly winds. Weather cool and showery, but gradually improving. Seas moderate. Dominion Forecast. —An anti-cyclone is still located in the north, while a depression is moving on to southern New Zealand from the Tasman Sea. Pressure is rising over Tasmania. Weather fair and mild in eastern districts and in the North Island. Unsettled on the West Coast of the South Island, with some further rain and showers later extending up the west coast as far a s Taranaki and up the east coast as far as Canterbury.
