CONN.—On September 27. 1940, at Dunedin. William, eldest son of the late John and Rosanna Conn: aged 59 years. Private interment.—Hugh Gourley. Ltd., funeral directors. GARRETT.—On September 27, 1940 (suddenly), at her residence, Gordon road, Mosgiel, Elizabeth Jane, beloved wife of Michael Garrett and beloved mother of Mrs J. Doran. (Co. Durham. England). Mrs G. Bell, Mrs F. Thorn, and Miss N. Garrett; aged 59 years. R.I.P. —Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Mosgiel, To-day (Saturday), 28th inst., at 7.30 p.m. The Funeral will leave St. Mary’s Church, Mosgiel, on Sunday, 29th inst. at 2.30 p.m., for the East Taieri Cemetery.—R. Campbell and Son, funeral directors.
