TIN PRODUCTION
THE CONTROL SCHEME (British Official Wireless) RUGBY. June 26. (Received June 27, at 7 p.m.) The Under-secretary for the Colonies, Mr G. H. Hall, stated in the House of Commons that the Government did not consider it desirable to bring the tin control scheme to an end. His information was that the International Tin Committee was taking all possible steps to secure that no restriction would interfere with the production of such quantities of tin as may be required to meet Allied needs and he was satisfied that there was" sufficient tin production to meet such needs.
