GOOD TEMPLARY

Rescue Lodge, No. 105, met on Tuesday evening, when Bro. W. G, lies, chief templar, presided. Votes of sympathy and condolence were passed to Sis. Mrs Saunders, who had recently been bereaved of a son, and the relatives of Mr Frank Hilliker, who had been closely associated with the temperance movement for a long time. Reports from the Visiting Committee showed that absent members had been visited, and an encouraging report was received on the work of the juvenile temple. An interesting programme was presented by the members responsible, and a committee was appointed to arrange for the celebration of the thirty-sixth anniversary of the lodge. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple, No, 15 also met on 'hiesday evening, Bro. Allan Cropley chief templar, presiding. Two former members rejoined, and six candidates were initiated.
