MEETING OF ASSOCIATION A meeting of the Roslyn and Kaikorai Ratepayers’ Association was held last night. Mr P. L. Ritchie presiding. There were also present Messrs M. Thompson, W. Thompson, A. Ellis, P. Findlay, A. C. Laing, W. J. Bell, DO’Connor. G. Dennis. J. McPhee, and F. G. Sharpe, ' The town, clerk wrote accepting Mrs Teller's offer to dedicate ground at the intersecticn of Ann and Hereford streets for widening purposes,, subject tn certain work being carried out, by the council. ..... , Replying to the association s request lor conveniences at the Robin Hood ground, the council stated that temporary dressing sheds were being provided. It was regretted that the question of conveniences would have to be left over in the meantime. The council also advised that instructions had been given for the necessary maintenance of Ann and Kilgour streets where they were in a rough condition. It was decided to ask for the formation of a footpath in Kaikorai Valley road between Manchester and Glenelg streets and for an extra light between Greenock and Falcon streets. The question of the parking of cars in the district both day and night was discussed, and it was decided to ask the City Council to prohibit parking in all narrow streets, especially in Highgate between Fifield and Scarba streets and Littlebourne road to Tweed street, which were only 40 feet wide. It was decided to ask for the erection of a concrete wall to hold up the bank at the corner of Taieri road and Roslyn square.
