SCHOOL BUS CAPSIZES
I FOUR CHILDREN INJURED .. \ ONE SENT TO HOSPITAL . ;V (Per United .Press-Association) t CHRISTCHURCH, June 17. •v A school, bus containing about 30 children capsized near Cheviot to-day. The bus was travelling north along Sinclair’s road, about three miles and a-half from Cheviot, when it suddenly left the road and capsized, rolling oyer twice and coming to test on its side. It is not known how the accident was caused. The driver was unhurt, and the majority of the, children escaped jivith minor’ abrasions and. a shaking, jour were injured, • \ Peter Lochhead had an arm broken, and was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. ,* Freda Lochhead suffered concussion. June Elliott suffered a scalp wound Travis Barnes wag cut on one leg Peter Lochhead was the only one admitted to hospital. The bus was the. service one for. the Cheviot School, and had been in operation for 17 years.. •This is its first mishap. • ,
