WAR FUNDS
HANDSOME DONATIONS FIRMS GIVE £11,500 (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 15. A total sum of £11,500 to the British and French War Funds has been made by John Court (Auckland). H. and J. Court, Ltd. (Hamilton), and J. W. Court, Ltd. (Whangarei). The Auckland firm has given £SOOO to the British War Benevolent Fund, ££■soo to the Lord Mayor’s Red Cross Fund, and £2500 to the French Red Cross. ■■■ The Hamilton firm has given £1250 for comforts and the sustenance of men and women of all the British forces and the Whangarei firm £250 to the British War Benevolent Fund.
