MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
R.S.A. v. ST. KILDA BOWLERS An enjoyable social evening was spent on Wednesday, when a friendly match was fired between members of the Returned Soldiers and St. Kilda Bowling Club. The result was a win for the former team by a small margin. The highest score was secured by T. O’Sullivan, of tlie St. Kilda Club. The following were the scores:—R.S.A.: G. H. Ferens 78, R, Bowie 78, H. A. Edmonds 77, A, Dodds 77, G. Burgess 75, J. Jackson 75, D. Robinson 74, A. Lyon 73, J. Morgan 72, C. Gourley 71; total, 750. St. Kilda Club; T. O'Sullivan 79, G. Longworth 78, J, Harrison 78, J. Marlow 75, W. Anderson 74, A. Lord 74, W. Leeden 72, P, Edwards 72. W. Walton 71, B. Ussher 70: total. 743 RAILWAY CLUB The following were the highest scores at the weekly shoot of the Railway Miniature Rifle Chip: W. Burt, J. Green way 80, A. Begg, N. Jones 79, F. Benfcll, G. Adams, E. Adams, A. Monson, F. Powell, Miss Seidelin 78, H. Barbour, W. Wilson, D. Lament, A Gillespie 77. During the evening presentations were made to Mr P. McEwan and Mr F. Benfell, on the occasion of their departure for service in the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
