o MOHNINGXON CLUB About 30 harriers held a run from the Caversham Methodist Church ■to Lookout Point From there they ran across country to the Blackhead road to just above Blackhead and to the St. Clair golf links, where two packs were formed. The junior pack returned through St. Clair and along Forbury road, and the slow pack followed practically the same route. LEITH CLUB The Leith Club ran from the Kaikorai Baths to the top of Fraser’s Gully, where two packs were formed. The slow pack cut down to Kaikorai road, and in a short run home Scrivener, Burns, and Baton finished in that order. The fast pack ran around the back of Mount Grange and to the back of Abbotsford and returned by the Valley road. Barkings, Markham, and Fincham were the first home in the run from the woollen mills. CAVERSHAM CLUB The Caversham Club’s Edmond Cup Trial and Sealed Handicap (Brettell Cup) was held at Wingatui on Saturday, when there was a field of about 20. C. McGregor and W. D, Morrison were the early leaders, but in the back straight G. L. Austin ran to the front. McGregor followed Austin for the rest of the race, and L. L. Hebbard, L. K. White, and E. J. Flockton ran together in a bunch. The result was G. L. Austin (18min 27sec) 1, C. McGregor 2, L. K. White 3. The result of the Sealed Handicap was G. L. Austin 1. G T. Dwan 2. C. McGregor 3. The juniors and colts were taken for a run over the Otago Championhip course.
