INDIANS ON THE WARPATH
Someone should tell Hitler that the Indians of British Columbia are on the warpath against him and his Nazis. The Native Brotherhood of British Columbia, at their tenth annual convention, held at Bella Bela, near the end of Alexander Mackenzie's trans-Canada trail, decided, as a gesture by the race to help win the war, to forgo all their claims on the Dominion Government until the sound of the last shot was echoed into the silence of a once more peaceful world. " When Canada and the Empire are at , war, we, the Native Indians, are also at war," said Chief Ambrose Reid, of Fort Simpson, leader of the Tsimpseans, and chief advisor to the brotherhood.
