Hop-picking is general throughout the Motueka district, where it is .expected that the yield will show an increase of more than 50 per cent, over that baled last; year. There is. however: a shortage of pickers in most gardens and harvesting operations will be prolonged on that account, with- the possibility cf less through over-ripe-ness and other causes. Without, advertising in some form or other, a large proportion of commercial enterprises would close down. Do not let this happen to you. Advertise freely in the Times.
