BICYCLE AND CAR COLLIDE ELDERLY MAN’S DEATH (Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH. Feb. 29. Knocked down by a motor car on the Main South road at Upper Riccarton on Wednesday night, George William Morrison, aged 75, suffered injuries from which he died in hospital to-day. Morrison was riding a bicycle, which came into collision with a car, DEATH IN HOSPITAL Ernest Edward Parker, who was admitted to Hospital on Tuesday, suffering from food poisoning, died yesterdav. The deceased became suddenly worse on Wednesday night, and did not respond to treatment, death occurring at 10 a.m. He was a married man, and lived at 432 Main North road. An inquest will be held.
