WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT EX-DUNEDIN PLAYER'S SUCCESSES (Per United Press .Association) MASTERTON, Jan. 24. At the Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Tournament, which was concluded today, the championships resulted as follows: — Men's Singles.—Max Ferkins beat G. A. Pearce 6—2, 6—l, 6—l. Women's Singles.—Mavis Kerr (Dunedin) beat Margaret Glenny (Hawke's Bay) 6—3, 6—4. Men's Doubles.—P. Hawksworth (Masterton) and G. A. Pearce (Wellington) beat R. and M. Perkins 6—4, 6—3. Women's Doubles. —Mrs P. Hawksworth (Masterton) and Mavis Kerr (Otago) beat Mrs D. H. Kennedy and Z. Castle (Wellington) 6—4, 6—3.
