TECHNICAL DAY SCHOOLS

WORK FOR THE YEAR LIST OF PASSES The list of passes, representing the classification earned by pupils as a result, of this year’s work at the Dunedin Technical High School, the Senior School of Commerce, and the Senior School of Art, is given below. In the Technical High School pupils with first class passes are eligible to be prepared for public examinations if they so wish, and those with first and second class passes are entitled to promotion into the more advanced class of the next higher grade. Of the group labelled “ pass ” the claims of those in the first part will be first considered In constituting senior classes. The issue of certificates in the Technical High School is confined to students who have completed at least two years in one course, and who have a sufficiently good record of first and second class passes, as well as an excellent record in Industry and conduct. The list of passes in secondyear and senior classes Is a rough guide to the list of certificates awarded, but should not be taken as an accurate list of certificate holders.
