TOWN HALL DANCE
Last Saturday night another new dance called the " Patty Cake. Patty Cake," was introduced at the Town Hall. It was demonstrated by a couple from Miss Constance Potts’s School of Dancing, and proved an outstanding success. This week the management of the dance has engaged Miss Potts to teach the new dance from 7 to 8 p.m. The dance programme will commence at 8 p.m., and the music will be supplied by Dick Colvin’s band of nine players, assisted by five vocalists. The Town Hall dance ballet, specially trained by Miss Potts, will appear. Patrons are reminded that entries for the Otago junior ballroom dancing championship will close on Saturday night. Spectators will be admitted to the circle for a small charge. Further particulars are advertised.
