CENTENNIAL TEAMS’ RACE

(Per United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 28.

One of the most ambitious events ever run by the Amateur Cycling Association will be the Centennial teams’ road race extending over two days, and ridden in stages as follows: From Napier to Palmerston North, staying the night at Palmerston North; thence on the second day from Palmerston North to Wellington, finishing at the Exhibition Grounds. The proposed dates are in the week following November 11. The teams will be of four riders each, to be selected from each centre in the Dominion, and the average time for the first three riders in each team will count for the winning of the race.
