TALKS AT TOKIO
THE TIENTSIN DISPUTE POSSIBLE RESUMPTION (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Oct. 28. (Received Oct. 29, at 10 p.m.) In connection with reports of a meeting yesterday at. Tokio between the British Ambassador (Sir Robert Craigie) and the Japanese Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, it is pointed out in London that Britain made it clear at the time of the interruption Of the Tientsin talks that it would be ready to resume the discussions at any convenient time, and that willingness had been implicit, in the British attitude since then. . , ; ; .. vi:. No report of yesterday’s conversation has yet been received from Sir Robert Craigie.
