FINAL COMMUNITY SING

The final community sing of! the season will be held at the Town Hall to-night. Admission is free, but seats may be reserved at Begg’s. One of the features of Hie evening will be the first public performance by the St. Kllda Municipal Band of Mr A. Pettitt’s “ New Zealand Centennial March.” Piano copies, autographed by the composer, will be sold in the hall. An entertaining programme has been arranged. and the assisting artists will be Miss Muriel Caddie’s Piano-Accordion Band, a ballet from the Constance Potts’ School of Stage Dancing, the Opoho Ladies’ Choir, Miss Doris Darracott (vocal), and Mr Ivan Hanna (vocal). Messrs H. P. Desmoulins, J. F. Himburg. and A. Pettitt will be in charge, and Begg’s orchestra will play from 7.30. Another Labrador dog. three months’ old, has been given, and will be sold. Doors will be opened at 7 o'clock, and the sing will start at 8 o’clock.
