LETTERS FOR GERMANY DIVERTED THROUGH ITALY (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegrahp—Copyright) WASHINGTON. Oct. 21. (Received Oct. 22. at 6.30 p.m.) Mr Cordell Hull announced that the State Department is considering representations to Britain respecting the seizure of American mail en route to Germany the mail being censored and returned to the United States. The Post Office henceforward is sending United States mail to Germany through Italy to avoid international complications.
