AMATEUR CYCLING
HANDICAPS FOR TO-DAY The Dunedin Amateur Cycling Club will hold its opening meeting on the Caledonian Ground this afternoon at 2 o’clock. The events are One-mile and Two-miile Open Handicaps, Invitation Miss and Out Race, limited to six riders, Half-mile Newcomers’ Handicap, and Quarter-mile Open Scratch Races. Good entries have been received from some of Otago’s most prominent riders, and as two and three heats will have to be run off for each event there should be a full afternoon’s racing The meeting is an open gate one.
