RUSSIA AND TURKEY
AGREEMENT REPORTED LONDON, Oct. 14. (Received Oct. 15, at 11 p.m.) The Paris correspondent of the Associated Press says it has been reliably reported that a TurkishRussian agreement has been signed, protecting Russia’s right to use the Dardanelles and Black Sea in accordance with the Montreux Convention. Under the agreement Russia is believed to have given Turkey a guarantee that she will not supply military aid to Germany. The Turkish newspapers claim authority for stating that the Moscow negotiations resulted in an agreement harmonising with Turkey’s undertakings to Britain and France.
