BUSINESS MAN’S ESTATE Under the will of Mr James Evans, formerly a manager for Messrs Ross and Glendining, Ltd., probate of whose will has been granted, the following public bequests have been made:— To the Dunedin Club, Fernhill, Dunedin £IOO To the New Zealand Crippled Children Society, Dunedin branch 200 To the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association, Incorporated 200 To St. Paul’s Cathedral, Dunedin 100 To the University of Otago .. 1000 The bequest to the university is to be applied in the absolute and uncontrolled discretion of the council of the university in such manner and at such times as it shall think fit in or towards the study of, or research in, rheumatic diseases.
