ATTRACTIVE MUSICAL PROGRAMME
The public will have an opportunity tonight of hearing a fine programme of music In Wallace Hall, Dunedin Training College, Logan Park, when the College Choral Society, under the baton of Mr George E. Wilkinson, will present a selection of part songs in addition to excerpts from Montaeue Phillips's light ooera, " The Rebel Maid." In this work the society will have the assistance of Miss Dora Drake and Mr R. J. Laurenson as soloists, while the minor parts will be sung by Messrs P. McNamara and T. Pedlar, two members of the choir. A special feature of the programme will be Bach's chorale, "Awake Us, Lord, and Hasten," to be sung with string accompaniment. Instrumental trios will add further variety to the programme. Reserves are at Begg's.
